Marcolino Relojoeiro is the main reference in the city of Oporto for those who demand quality and excellence in watchmaking and jewellery. And this does not happen by chance. In fact, for more than 98 years, Marcolino was a witness and protagonist of the evolution of a city that, like few others, knew how to combine tradition and modernity, being today a true center of cosmopolitan lifestyle.

ANTÓNIO MARCOLINO, FOUNDER OF THE MARCOLINO WATCH STORE

António Marcolino was passionate by watchmaking and he opens his first watch store in Rua Santo Ildefonso giving it the name that exists to this today.

Marcolino Store Growth

In 1991, with the Neves family as owner, Marcolino acquired an old stamp shop and transformed it into a new commercial space, which opened in April of that year, in an expansion process imposed by the fast-growing pace of the company and by the market’s recognition.

Change of Facilities

In 1937 Marcolino moved to number 130 on Rua Passos Manuel, in Porto city center, giving a special glow to this emblematic street of the city. As it still happens today, the store displays on its facade a clock that became the exact time guide for all those who pass that busy street.

Rolex and Marcolino, a Perfect Partnership

In 2015 the new flagship store is inaugurated, proudly displaying the new exclusive Rolex area. This store already presents Marcolino’s new image, more global and sophisticated, that follows market trends and the demands of a more informed consumer.
